To ensure that your investment in having Trever speak at your event is a success, the following information will give you a general idea of what he will need the day of the speech:

  1. Trever is 6’1” and very animated. He moves around a lot—on the stage and into the audience. If there is a stage, please be sure that it is large enough that he can move around on it. There should be a small table, roughly waist high on the stage so that he can place notes and props on it.
  2. Trever prefers a lavaliere microphone.
  3. If the speech is being videotaped, Trever requests a one copy of the videotape.
  4. Trever will provide a short bio in advance of the speaking date. He does request that the person doing the introduction read from the bio and keeps it fairly close to how it is written.
  5. Trever is happy to meet with program attendees, but prefers not to stay out late the evening before the speech.
  6. It is not a good idea to have your main speaker speak at the end of your conference, but rather at the beginning or middle. If at all possible, this makes for a better experience for everyone as people are generally tired an antsy to get out of the room.
  7. Please be sure the audience is sitting relatively close together and not spread out in the room. This allows for better overall energy and emotional connection.
  8. Trever never uses PowerPoint. Never.
  9. Access to the room one-hour in advance is requested. Trever will make himself available to A/V engineers as needed and at their convenience. It is critical, however, that Trever have a chance to test sound levels before going on.
