Trever Cartwright is president and founder of Vigilant, Inc., the fit-business
consultancy that focuses on strengthening leaders, inspiring managers
and invigorating corporate cultures. His unique fit-business
approach emphasizes the synergistic power of leadership, vision, culture
and talent.
Whether he is presenting business development workshops to associates
and partners in law firms, facilitating vision and mission setting sessions
for executive teams or delivering high-impact customer service programs
to front line managers, Trevers upbeat and dynamic style keeps participants

A former ad agency/PR firm owner for many years, Trevers work has
appeared on CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, in ADWEEK Magazine, U.S.
News and World Report and Success magazines. He is a published writer
on the subjects of marketing, leadership and public speaking and has served
as a guest instructor at Harvard and Stanford Law schools. He has received
numerous industry awards, including recognition from the New York TV and
Film Festival as well as several Cappie, Crystal and Silver Microphone
awards.
In 1995, after being sponsored to deliver numerous seminars nationwide
by American Cities Business Journals, Trever and his business partner
completed a public offering of their firm and its subsidiary, MarketAmerica,
through the national S.C.O.R. program.
Soon after, he served for five years as SVP of Sales and Marketing for
The Money Store (later known as First Union Small Business Capital). While
in this role, he was instrumental in growing annual sales volume from
$400 million in 1995 to $850 million in 1999. He was frequently called
upon to design and facilitate internal training programs throughout the
First Union system, focusing on marketing strategies, customer service,
sales skills and leadership development.
Trever has worked with a broad range of companies, including Continental
Airlines, the International Quality and Productivity Council, The U.S.
Small Business Administration and Easter Seals.
